I’ve alway loved makeup growing up, because it can make you feel amazing. I’ve never been one to completely change my appearance through makeup, but rather enhance my natural features. I think anything you can do to make yourself feel more empowered, beautiful, and confident you should do it! While I fully believe you should love yourself first and for most, but makeup can also be a wonderful creative outlet and can be extremely positive. I’ve been slowly switching my beauty products to more cruelty-free options, including Naked Products, Tarte, Too Faced, and more. Today, I wanted to share some of the products you will find in my makeup bag (Similar).
My go-to foundation has actually been a tinted moisturizer. I love to wear as little foundation as possible in order to avoid clogged pores. I love this one from Tarte, because of it’s amazing coverage which evens out my skin tone as well as being very light on the skin.
My sister traveled to Paris over the summer and returned with this wonderful gift. A French perfume. I am absolutely obsessed with it’s very effortless and simple aroma. It has a very light and sweet send that could just carry you away!
While this mascara has been one of my favorites for the longest time, I am on the market for a new mascara. I highly recommend this mascara for it’s full lash effect. If anyone has recommendations for natural mascaras, let me know!
I’ve been loving the Parisian effect for my eyeliner as of late. I apply a thick line of eyeliner then smudge it out with an eyeliner brush or smudge brush. It’s very subtle and not as harsh as the popular cat eye version.
100% Pure is an incredible brand with amazing quality products including this concealer. This concealer is quite light on the skin, but it does a fairly good job at covering up almost all of my imperfections. This color is also perfect for my skin tone and very light on my skin. Sometimes I just apply this concealer on my face when I don’t want to wear foundation, it’s just enough to even out my skin tone and hide any blemishes.
My aunt brought me some fabulous gifts from Asia, including this lip tint from Innisfree. I had never heard of this company before, but I really love this lip tint in this gorgeous red-ish orange color. I didn’t have anything in this specific color in my makeup collection, so I was thrilled to receive it. Innisfree is a Korean makeup brand, and I highly recommend.
